Fessi on in second half did change thing a bit but thye defended well,as said big fuckers their CBs and it makes me wonder if we watched Blackbum beforehand because,and don't shoot me down,it was a game where the Carthorse would have been a better bet coming off the bench.I know he can't score or head on target but he would have knocked their CBs about in his usual style and he does tend to draw defenders to him.He wasn't even on the bench though.

Haven't seen any replays but Blackburn were unlucky not to get something from last night. We had several breaks in the second half where we should have put the game to bed but screwed them all up with poor passing and even worse decision making. It was so frustrating especially when you remember how well we did on breaks like that last season. Reach was busting a gut to make the extra man and was ignored every time, such a waste.

From where we were sat the injury to their player in the first half seemed innocuous, just two players going for a bouncing ball. Wasn't convinced that the ball was over the line when they hit the bar but again I stand to be corrected if I see evidence to the contrary. The annoying aspect of the incident for me was how we let Emnes come inside and line up the shot in the first place. The disallowed goal was also not easy for me to judge but again the worst part for me was the terrible header by Reach that went straight at their player. From what I could see their player definitely pushed the ref in his chest and deserved to be sent off. Let's see if he gets the same length of ban that Di Casio got, although there wasn't the same comedy fall from the ref this time!

Having watched all the highlights from last night, here are my opinions ..

Blackburn deserved what they got ..BEATEN ... ball not over the line, the sending off (AFTER the HANDBALL) was a red ..NO DOUBT, we were somewhat lucky.. but I'll take some luck on the road to promotion !!

Norwich v Newcastle ..Fair result

Weeds v Brizzle ..Weeds played a get out of jail card, lucky to get 3 points, I know they beat us , can't see it happening again, and if they lose Woods they are fooked !!

Roverum v Village, Village played more than one get out card, beaten them twice , love them in a playoff final, very lucky 3 points , but credit to them they never stop, but the defence ... at least we have one !!

Reading V Brentford ... I'd worry more about Brentford TBH, looked a good side , defensively Reading are shambolic !!!

IMHO, we have nothing to fear , points will be taken from each other in the top 10 teams, we keep winning ugly, we will go up ..no doubt, how people whine about our season is beyond me, we keep racking up the points, maybe not pretty, but for me a win ugly to get promoted is fine, I know people have their own opinions of players and here are mine, Wallace , Mr Underrated, Sasso, very capable CB till Lees is fit (but no rush), Loovens, cool , calm and collected + a GREAT captain. Bannan, again, need to see the big picture, great football brain, infact the whole team are doing exactly as they should .... WINNING GAMES, maybe not pretty, but there are reasons why we aren't as attack minded as last season, for me, I don't care .... 3 points from a game is the be all and end all, football is a results driven BUSINESS now, We have a chairman who backs us, A manager who knows EXACTLY what is needed and how to achieve the results needed, and a team capable of doing it !!

1 final thought , if anyone on any Sheffield Wednesday forum could do better than CC, then why the xxxx are you not in his job ... Just curious like !!

Wereham, I like your faith and positivity and having seen some highlights just now I agree that the ball wasn't over the line. Not conclusive either way for the handball but he was jumping at Reach with his arms up if it did hit them. As I said earlier, definitely a red card and Sky say he's been handed 3 match ban with possibly more to come after a hearing.

I have moaned a bit on here and more when talking to mates and work colleagues but that is mainly because I haven't enjoyed many games I've been to this season, unlike last season. Obviously winning makes us all feel happier when we go to bed at night but the pessimist in me means I can't help feeling we're a little short of where we need to be to get up this season.
