pies £3.00, pints £3.20 (i think Huh)
Absolute rip off, especially for us hungover students who roll out of bed half an hour before KO, get there 15 mins late then need food to soak up leftover alcohol Whistle. Whats worse is £1.20 for a bag of crisps, £1 for a mars bar/KitKat, £2.20 for a bottle of pop (50p in B&M darn t'road).

If a get t'illsbra early enough, a getter couple of Beres poork sarnies an tek em in wi mi

I have gone on about it before.

The price of food & beverages at S6 isn't really out of line with any other ground. The pies are pretty good & are fair value. I would much rather support my club by having pie & peas in the ground than buy a burger outside the ground.

However, the beers are poor and soft drinks & snacks are overpriced. A bottle of Oasis is £2.40 in the ground and £1 just outside the ground. We buy three for the journey home so obviously we buy them from the shop.

My main argument is the atmosphere where you get your pie & a pint. We have no giant screen. We don't even have decent plasma screens in the concourses. In the north stand, there are 16 24" home TVs screwed to the wall. At the last match, only six were working. The quality of service is also an issue although it is great when you receive more change than you paid - this has happened twice to me. One season it was seven matches before we were charged the correct price for two pie & peas.

The embarrassing bit is that much smaller clubs than us are getting it right. Wednesday fans have the lowest average match day spend of all 92 clubs. Is it that we are tight or is it the surroundings?

Think Doncaster was the best last season for pre match food & beverages.

Adult Ticket Prices

Category A

Kop £28
North £30
South £32
Granstand £30

Category B

Kop £25
North £27
South £29
Granstand £27

Category C

£10 for every stand

I got a bottle of coke and that cost £2.60 in the north stand. Never bought food at Hillsborough in all my 38 years in going. There are TVs in the North Stand as MS says but the quality is poor.

I spend as little time in Hillsborough as possible and so do thousands of others. This is what needs addressing. Why spend well over three quid on a shit lager out of a can when you can spend another 10/15 mins in the pub and have a proper pint for £2 odd. Same goes for snacks/food. Oh and we don't see any of this money either because Lee Strafford sold the fuccking contract to Lindleys at a cut price rate Doh

Something needs to be done. Maybe like at Man City where they have screens all round and show the early KO, get people in and spending money.

Get proper bookies set up in the stands rather than a shit shed thats outside and gets no custom when it rains/snows/windy/cold.

Sell merchandise (swfc shirts/hats/gloves/scarves/pens/books/stress balls Laugh etc) on the stands like we do food/drink. Come to think of it, make better merchandise because it's all wank. Target kids who go with parents, make more age appropriate, swfc related toys/colouring books/comics/stories/shit that breaks easy so will need replacing and get the kids begging for their mums and dads to buy the tat.

I k ow MM has had a lot to sort out behind the scenes but surely he can employ someone who can do this job better than we already are

I thought that Lee Strafford brought the catering back in house but MM put it back out to contract. Not 100% certain on this but that is how I remember it.

It is all about facilities. If you look at the ten clubs with the biggest %ge increase in crowds, all achieved it by moving to a modern stadium. Look at Arsenal. Back in 93, they got the same crowds as us. Now they get more than double that at their new ground. Brighton were getting 2,000 at the Withdean and around 6,000 before that at the Goldstone. Now they get over 25,000 at the Amex. If you want to increase crowds dramatically, a new ground is the way forward.

That won't be happening!

I seem to remember MM renegotiated with Lindleys and we ended up with a better deal but still not as good as other teams Lindleys work with. When this contract is up we need to either look elsewhere (in house/other companies) or get more from Lindleys

I'd be surprised if SG picks May tonight. Think he will go with a flexible 442 formation.

Westwood
Palmer, Lees, Loovens, Dielna,
Maguire, Semedo, Lee, Helan
Drenthe, Nuihu.

With palmer and the LB bombing forward and Lee getting into the box too, haha !!

That team above in there fixed positions apart from Drenthe who I think Drenthe will be given a free role. 4411, or 4231 or whatever your having yourself.

Last time I had a drink or owt to eat in a stadium was in 2005 in Cardiff!

I was in an executive box and it was all free!

I went to town that day!
