An old subject but look at how many pks and red cards he has awarded at Tynecastle for the benefit of his 'favourite footie team' since then and compare how many similar awards/decisions he has given to Hibs, some of them denied 'stonewall pks' btw! And we wonder what's wrong with the game in Scotland - that kinda issue is part of the prob but obviously not the only one!! Hopefully somebody like Gollum or Madden will officiate this game and we can concentrate mainly on the footie as it should be!!

I think he has got better in that respect 0762 but unfortunately he is just a poor ref. I have seen him give some poor decisions against Hearts and I think in the Rangers v Motherwell cup tie last week some poor ones against Rangers at Ibrox.

He just needs to be removed from top class games in Scotland.

I agree but the stats and observations that I refer to are still glaring TBF! This man is loathe to easily award a pk to Hibs FC - same goes for red cards that benefit Hibs - they are rare occasions indeed!!! Also it doesn't remove the fact the man is a Hearts fan and shouldn't be officiating Hearts matches much in the same way that it is practised in England by the FA!!! A simple solution to a simple problem!! Just ask any appointed refs re poss affiliation and partiality to any footie club and manage it from there! The only problem is we still have 'dinosaurs' managing our game up here and not applying an element of common sense to a simple problem!

Get it out your head, Thomson is not a Hearts fan. Also, the thought of Collum getting this match is really worrying if you think he's decent. He's the bloody worst of them all for gods sake man, so much so that he was actually removed from the list for a period because of his awful decisions.

I don't give a toss who he supports, he's a terrible referee. A cheating bastard of the highest order,plenty of evidence of it.

After that debacle in his last CL game i doubt he will feature at the top level again.

What it does show about Thompson is he's just as crap in lots of games no just Edinburgh derbies get over it,he was actually decent for you's at Tynie last season,just shows if ye shout loud enough for long enough it'll get through.

By the way how much you pay for Dylan Bikey lol, to be fair that came as a right shock

We didn't offer him a contract for a reason - he wouldn't get in our first team squad.

Don't believe all you read in the Sun Fred. ( we have had many players on trial but most don't get any further) Unfortunately a few Hibs fans did but most in the green half are relaxed about you getting Dylan. Unproven but a good gamble for you. As he uses you as a stepping stone to bigger and better things fortunately he will probably never play us in a Hearts shirt since he will be off in the Summer if he proves himself.

I agree with you about Thompson......just a cr*p ref but I also see you and ek are looking to poke the bear again so beware.

Thing is we already have insall who is on loan and scoring plenty at the level bikey came from. Insall couldn't get near a start for us.
