How many neutrals will bother to turn up at £20?

Lord snooty your right about the neutrals not paying the money £20 is expensive and I agree with the guys about not paying the £20 to watch Bonnyrigg Rose.

But it's their cup final and want to make as much money as poss we've all spoke about prices for tickets over the years and the unfair system for the fans.

The way I'm looking at it Hibs fans are the away team but will turn into a home game with the fans who will turn up to support HFC. Bonnyrigg is a small town on the outskirts of edinburgh 5000 may seem a lot to come but I'm pretty sure all familie members will follow them for one day.

But as 0762 says there's lots of hibs / herts fans from there we will just have to wait and see I suppose. I will be going with my son and grand kids so will hibeejim & 0762 even the time comes to buy a ticket.

It's in the blood to watch HFC at whatever cost

Bonnyrigg sell their allocation of circa 5000 tickets. Obviously if Hibs don't sell their allocation they will get more.

Going to be a good pay day for them.  Thumb up

Nahhh bounce! I'm sure Hibs will deal with the Rose without my backing but I'll do the next best thing and shortly invest a 'wee bit more money than £20' in HFC itself! I like to think that I contributed a wee bit towards Hibs winning the Holy Grail by previously adding more shares to my old 1980s shares and backing the club - months later, hey presto we picked up the Scottish Cup in one of the most historic and dramatic finals ever witnessed at Hampden Park! Thumb up It's time for me to repeat the exercise!

Is this match gonna be televised? Surely cup holders away against a non league team has to be on live.

Id rather go to the Utd game.

20 sheets to watch a fecking pub team at the PBS ? Gimme a break. There's following your team and there's getting ripped off. Do hertz get anything from this?

I imagine they will get some costs Jim but not that much.

It will be interesting to see how many tickets we shift. Support seems firmly in 2 camps .......not going as it is 20 quid and at Hearts and going as it is the first match in the defense of the title won on that famous day in May.

For myself , I will be going as nothing is certain in this game and they may be a "pub team" but I have watched these types of ties for many years in all sorts of Cups and you just never know........Sutton United anyone and of course being an investor in Hereford FC have great memories of that famous FA Cup victory against Newcastle when known as Hereford United. ( first time a non league side had beaten a top flight side since the 40's......mind you the pitches in those days could be a great leveller compared to the good surfaces they are used to now).  With so many Rose and Hearts fans going................. you never know.

I disagree! No chance and Hibs will romp this match. Why am I so confident? Because the Tynecastle pitch is in very good nick for this time of year and that will favour the far superior team, namely Hibs. Also our FT superior fitness will pay dividends and Hibs won't leave anything to chance - well prepared for it!

Agreed 0762 and 999 times out of a 1000 the better team will come out on top when there is this much difference between the two sides..........but there is always a chance no matter how small   Confused  Agree about the pitch ......the Edgar Street pitch resembled a ploughed field on the famous day  Laugh

I believe this chance would have increased for the Rose if they had stuck to their own ground......not sure moving to Tynecastle will help them. Hibs won't mind playing there whereas on a small non league ground with all the intimidation that goes with that, I'm not sure.   Huh
