We tried. They seemed happy with a draw. A bit boring to watch tbf. They were very good at falling over.

They didnt deserve a point.
We once again showed that we can play nice football but lack that ruthless streak when we dominate. We just dont take our chances

Bit nerve wracking at the end. Ref were a joke.
Shudda won.

Feels like a defeat to me, absolutely dominate the game and once again we gif a goal to the opposition from a set piece, it matters not if we think it's a free kick or not it's our inability to defend set pieces that are costing us once again. 3 headers in the box and not once did we get near the ball

Another side we should have buried but didn't as our inability to find the onion bag came back to bite us on the arse again. It had to be Useless that scored against us didnt it? The ref was as inconsistent as it gets. Free kicks for reasonable tackles in the middle of the park then completely bottling any real decisions around the box. Overall, a big improvement from last week but we know Brum come to defend and nick one late on and that's what they did. Apparently they are all off to Marbella for a week of sunshine now while we freeze our backsides off and await some more dreadful football from England against the Jocks on Friday. Stiil. We are still 3rd thanks to Norwich being unable to beat our noisy neighbours. I'll take that for now and the end to our umpteen match run without a draw.
A guide to cask ale.

We got back to something like against a tough opponent but one that was winnable. Our lack of true goal threat will cost us this season, pretty sure all and sundry at the club can see this but whether we can address it, financially afford to or find a bod suitable is maybe the real question. Defensively again, we look shit scared when anything is launched in and it was no suprise but disappointing it wass whathisname who nodded home, vastly improved from his loan stint with us 5-6 years ago.
Lowe improved dramatically on his previous 3-4 games, Scanz had a good start to 2nd half and disappointed VLP did nothing when they exchanged places, Payne was a livewire creating openings, Hogg was very good npping and biting into the tackle. Mooy gave away the freekick that lead to the equaliser though everyone around me claimed it never was a foul, but his foot has hooked and trailing some time so easy to see why their chap fell over and the ref gave it. Wells thunderbolt would have been superb and just what he needs confidence wise. Take a point and hope in a fortnight we are ready to go abroad to Cardiff and battle it out there.

None of the penalty incidents shown here, but at least it shows how we dominated the match and the elbow in the back of Tommy Smith's neck that the ref missed, even though he was looking right at it.

Well England weren't quite as turgid as expected, but not far off. The Jocks couldn't find a cows arse or a barn door that was big enough to hit despite all the free invites our defense and midfield offered them. One last thing, if Man City offer us Sterling on loan, I hope we pass on that one. All he had to do was let it hit him in his boys toys and it was a goal. Still, 3-0 so we got the points that FIFA will now want to take back off us for wearing a political symbol.
