Maybe if he had left his political beliefs outside the club it would have made it all the easier for everyone to get behind him!!

Lets all agree to disagree. Put the matter to bed or if you can't then fair enough, but let's not speculate on what might or might not have happened regarding JM. The truth will come out.
Lets all get back to moaning about our apparent lack of enthusiasm in the transfer window.

The other problem is it is now all over the TV News so it may affect the Take over as any bad press could bring a halt to it all. Let's hope it doesn't go global.

My first & only response to the Mcclean sage as I'm sick to death of it:
I don't mind his beliefs if he keeps them to himself & his friends/family etc he doesn't need to bring politics into football & bring our name down with it, One picture which really pisses me off is the picture of him wearing the Easter Lily badge which is a badge to remember those who fought & died for the IRA so whatever he says or Albion fans say he does have links to the IRA however small and with us being only a couple of miles from where the Birmingham pub bombings took place I'm surprised how many Albion fans give it the "he's allowed his beliefs" rubbish which yes he is entitled too but he should know better than to show his beliefs on the pitch or wearing badges on his club tracksuit, I won't be booing him but at the same time a won't cheer/clap his name when its read out.

The easiest and cleanest answer would be for JP to sharpen his pencil and cancel JM's contract and issue him with a P45.
Don't need the hassle he brings to the table.

Yes, we're certainly on the horns of a dilemma. I can't see that I'm ever going to feel comfortable with this client and I would imagine others feel the same. Do his actions constitute breach of contract? Dear God, our only signing this window. You couldn't make it up!

I dare say very few of us understand what it was like growing up in Northern Ireland. Getting marked and having to leave the country, waiting to get searched before going into a department store every single time you go to the shops, looking over your shoulder constantly......
We may not share the same views but I'll take someone with balls who puts his head above the parapet every time over someone that privately harbours hatred. |
