How can we make it an issue??? This is a football forum for opinions and debate, he was mentioned as a candidate on the BBC Sport website, that bit is a fact, whether this speculation turns into anything only time will tell, but until someone else is appointed he is a candidate!!

Ironically its the fact Rangers are winning that is putting Warburton on the speculation lists in the media!!!! Personally I think he is an honorable man and will see out the season and probably further with Rangers, but these positions will keep on becoming available and he will continue to be "linked" with them while ever he is seen as being successful at a big club!

Totally agree the bookies have installed him as third fav nothing Warburton or rangers can do about that,maybe the rangers fans would prefer he done a shite job to keep him out the picture.

He's been mentioned on a betting website. That does not make him a candidate. He hasn't expressed an interest in, nor has he applied for, any position at any other football club, and no other football club has enquired after his services. He is not a candidate.

You get odds on the basis of people placing bets. Not club shortlists.
I'd be surprised at any premiership club approaching him, he's not got much of a track record. I think clubs will take a risk when promoting from within like Swansea did with Monk. However, there's so much money in the EPL that lots of experienced managers would love a crack at even an unfashionable side like Swansea - they'll have a pile of cvs to trawl through. He's got a lot to prove and he knows it.

Some news outlets are going so far as to say that swansea have made initial contact with warburton already. I'd be very,very surprised if he got an EPL job though.

They can't make initial contact with Warburton. Initial contact has to be with Rangers. I'd respectfully suggest the news outlets concerned are talking pish.
