Fulham have said f*ck all.
Warburton has stated after last night that he's disappointed in the rumours, he feels it's disrespectful to him, Rangers and Fulham that these rumours are persistent, that he's "into a long-term project" at Rangers, and that "we're in a good place, and I'm in the right place right now".

Integrity has nothing to do with it - it's his job. I have a job and I like it, but offer to double my money and I'd more than likely and quite rightly exercise my option to move on.
It annoys me that a club like Fulham (no offence to any Cottagers looking in), who IMHO are a TV money club, can potentially entice our manager away.
The worm has well and truly turned.

It's all just desperate rumours, and rumours that have been denied by both parties now.
Warburton isn't motivated by purely money. He has repeatedly said that he needs a project club, to build an infrastructure and youth set-up to serve a first team, to build and create a legacy. That's what he was doing at Brentford, that's what he's doing now with us. If it was purely about money, he wouldn't be here in the first place. He'd still be slogging away in the city.
Plus, I don't think he would have dragged his old back-room staff up here if he was just gonna jump ship in a couple of months time.

Clubs like Fulham have shed loads of "parachute" payments to spend - not only can they tempt a manager with cash they can tempt his club with compensation.

Why do you think I said integrity and not cash, believe it or not cash is not always King, I could treble my wage tomorrow ( and a bit more) but I would have to move 200 miles away. Would then be away from family and friends and not able to watch my team
