So its hertz in the next round at the PBS. They weren't exactly convincing though. Im quite relaxed about it to be honest,i hope we get through and think we have a real chance but its the league we need to be keeping our eye on at this stage of the season.

Hearts and Cathro have still only won one match inside the 90 mins! I briefly read the match report and the Raith lad, Stewart, again appears to be a main offender in not punishing a weak Hearts defence with some woeful striker's finishing in great positions to score! I also see Hearts got their usual 'bail out pk' but they seem to have a very unbalanced side and Paterson's vacated RB position is there to be exploited! When do they meet Celtic? The reason I ask that question is because this Cathro team is definitely gonna get a resounding 'doing' from an incisive opponent at some point! They have a chance at home against Hibs in a one off cup tie but if Hibs 'show up', we will win and win the game by a good score. IMO their chances of winning the SC are nil regardless of this 5th round result - they don't have the players or the proper manager to win it!!

My only concern is that we totally collapsed after the cup victory v hearts last season. A lot of those players are still here.
I do think that physically we are a stronger team this season though.

I also think Hibs are in a better position than last year and recovering players are gradually returning to strengthen the Hibs 1st team squad. Agreed the Championship title is top priority! The Scottish Cup? As previously commented, I strongly believe Celtic/Rodgers will attain a historic 'domestic treble' unless other corrupt SFA ref officials somehow interfere in it much like in that infamous SC semi-final v ICT and the Meekings hand ball 'incident'! On a similar issue, I'll be curious to see who the ref will be at Tynecastle - a reasonably competent one will do fine and one who knows how to interpret a real pk offence as well as issuing red cards properly.
