To be fair, it'll only equal their existing record; they've failed to score in five consecutive games on five previous occasions (the most recent being this autumn just gone!) it'll take a couple of damp squibs for them to set a new record...

Lump yer wages on it - their goal that I saw came out of the blue
If I was one of their lot I'd watch the game for 8 mins then go home, best of both worlds
I can go a step higher than Aston Villa

one point at Everton, not the best but every little helps. not a shot on goal but another clean sheet. need a few wins but a feel that there are enough teams poorer than us around us to make us safe ........... need to build in the future though.

Yes, a good point and a step towards safety.
We do need to build for the future but that's alway difficult if you don't know what division you are in. That's why, boring as it might be, grinding out a few draws at tough away grounds is a sensible, hopefully, short-term necessity.
I am sure we won't play like that in all game. But when needs must.
Naturally there is concern that TP's track record could make us a long ball and physical team. But his Crystal Palace days, being the most recent, suggests he has more to his bow than that.
Step 1, secure Premiership status, Step 2 experiment with squad and assess them ready for the summers transfer dealings. Step 3 mis table next season and a cup run (if not this season).
For me, I'll take it.
