Id imagine it will be a foreign coach but who I know not.

Ive said probably on this thread and definitely on other threads but I've always rated andre vilas boas and slaven bilic, now we probably wont be able to convince either to come to the championship.

I am also in favour of going for someone like arteta, siewert or even daniel strendel

Examiner reported on Dermo's comments, theo. Said that he said ref was wrong to change what was clearly the correct decision in the first place. Angry Doh Sick

Cheers for that Snoots. Thumb up

I couldn't fathom how it wouldn't have been discussed. Angry Huh  Hadn't got round to the Unexamined as it normally just repeats the crap in The Sun and claims it's local news.

In other news, first thing our resident Blue Nose (Brum City fan if you're slow on the uptake) said this morning was "stay away from our manager". He couldn't understand why I rolled around on the floor laughing for half an hour. Good job I've a spare pair of work pants and clean overalls at work, it saved me a trip home to change the one's I left home in this morning.

i think a lot of post Waggers attention will turn to the role and the invisible nature of Olaf Rebbe. Hearing he had
taken advantage of Deano's absence to throw his Sporting Director role around and his relationship with Waggers was broken.

Just who is responsible for the summer signings ? perhaps it will all come out in the wash as that is where it all went wrong before a ball was kicked.

The next man in will no doubt be Rebbe's recruited choice so be interesting to see how that relationship gels and takes us forward.

I will be forever in Waggers debt, delivering the Premiership prize in my lifetime was beyond my widlest dreams, a great man, good & decent character, humble and fully immersed in the job and area and understanding of what being a Town fan meant to this part of Yorkshire, even for us weekly exile returners. Disappointed but understanding his reasons and life does go on whatever the weather.

Seems there are maybe more than a few that could 'appen have benefited from another visit to some small Swedish Islands for another bonding trip? That or a long walk through a bog or two that I know far too well in the Yorkshire Dales between Pen-Y-Ghent and Whernside and maybe have been left behind - preferably head down. There's still time ..... but not for a trip to Sweden. It's only an hour or two up to Horton-in-Ribblesdale from West Yorkhire Whistle

On t'other hand

Amchaff. Why is this not an important thread, even if we (Town fans) didn't start it? 4 pages of comments and still the first sub.

All this talk about Rebbe being the one to blame, I can't help but think its a load of old tosh.

Dean and Waggers had and no doubt still have a relationship that stretches way beyond Chairman and manager/coach. If Waggers had a problem with Rebbe then surely to god he would have been straight on the blower to Dean to tell him.
As for signings, its been well documented before that DW had the final say on any players. Yes Rebbe and others before him scout the network and then they come back with recommendations which DW looks at and signs off on.

I don't think anyone has mentioned Christoph Buehler yet have they?
I believe he hasn't left his number 2 role....cheap replacement who knows the club inside out and knows the style of play we like.
I have my misgivings tbh, but if it is him it wouldn't surprise me.
