Stairs, I too, do not mourn relegation, I have said many times on here how much I hate the greed league, the bias towards the FA's elite gentlemen's club, with exclusive membership and the acceptance of a lot of clubs to be happy with being also rans (7-17), must not lose, must not go down mentality, money, money, money ........
But I do mourn the no passion, no fight, no pride, go down with a whimper attitude that appears to be running thorough this campaign ....... in the past we have gone down fighting, with players that wanted to be here, a squad that stayed together to build promotion ....... this we lack and I fear for next year and beyond .......
Albion til I die .......
As usual our timing is impeccable ....... get relegated in 86, just before the greed league took off ....... waited 16 years to rejoin the party ....... to late to benefit
Go down 2018 ..... just before VAR arrives to hopefully remove some of the bias, some of the fergie time and some of the fergie decisions ?????
Same old West Brom taking the proverbial ....

Time now for Pardew to say we're doomed, so go out there for the rest of the season and enjoy and play for the fans they deserve it.
Then welcome the Championship with no regrets knowing we fought to the end.

Most unlikely BBB.
For whatever reason (Pulis, Pardew, Williams or Lai) the heart has gone out of this Club. I doubt that they could kick their way out of a paper bag at the moment.
So sorry for all my fellow Baggies who deserve a lot better than this.
Mr Pardew:- time to fall on your sword!!!!

No point, he would probably pick the wrong sword and end up falling on a razor blade, it would promise a lot of damage, but produce little more than a scratch!!!

Agree with much of the above. Our demise started when Dan Ashworth was "stolen" by the FA! We are very much a broken club at the moment. When you are down and out NOTHING goes your way.
Will Vardy be done by the FA for inciting the crowd? No!
Will Wes Morgan face retrospective action for taking Brunt out with an elbow and then blatantly taking Rondon out with a body check? No!
Their 2nd goal came because the linesman and referee gave a throw in to Leicester that was clearly an Albion ball!
Every bounce of the ball, every offside decision went Leicester's way. Then after the 2nd goal our heads dropped and we capitulated.
We have very much hit rock bottom! If we sack Pardew, who will come in to have Relegation on their CV?
Whatever happens though, I shall be there. Come on you Baggies. Players may come and go but we fans are ALWAYS there! Boing Boing!

Had to laugh this morning at this comment from Trevor Brooking: "The level of aggression was something I couldn't believe a West Ham fan would get involved in."
Has he spent the last four or five decades living in a hermetically-sealed bubble?

I’m gutted at the minute and I can’t see us coming back for a long time.
Worldclass, ever thought about a change of name?

Whilst I would agree that we might well enjoy the championship, we have an enormous amount to do to restore the harmony within the club before that can happen or we could follow Sunderland. At a guess I would say we might lose Evans, Livermore, Krychoviak, Chadli, Rondon, Dawson, Foster (?) before the new season. In any event we will be a very different club.
If this or any of this happens, with the freed up salary commitments plus parachute money we will be very cash rich. Somebody then ( and thank God it's not me ) has to find a manager to spend wisely on new talent capable of performing to a high level in the championship. Let's give some credit to Bruce and Villa - they have shipped out some of the dead wood and brought in decent replacements and are riding high in the championship. It was not easy to stop the rot so quickly.
This season has been an unmitigated bloody disaster with catastrophic mismanagement. I believe we have surrendered 21 points from winning positions so far. We never were a bad side, just a team that got more and more lacking in the confidence to defend a lead as the season progressed.
Although I look forward to the championship, I am absolutely gutted that we are going down. It should never have happened.

I wouldn’t sell any of them. If under contract I would make them stay. They got us in this mess they can get us out of it however Livermore I would give away for nowt.
