I suppose we will, at least be above the piggies for a ninth week.
Didn't expect that at the beginning of the season.

Flop flop soft foul after soft foul

Correct!! When you are outplayed like we have been today, you are always going to commit more fouls and have to make more last ditch attempts to win the ball.

You do realize that a soft foul is still a foul?? The goal was offside, they missed that but haven't seen any blatant fouls we should have had, nor any that shouldn't have been given. We have only had 5 fouls against us all game so far!!

My point is these aren't consistent decisions..

Ive seen several challenges and shirt tugs by Coventry that went unpunished. If we are going ti be consistent with these soft fouls then Wednesday would benefit from them too.
The same goes for the these 'irregular' decisions surrounding goals against us.

I get your point but I am not seeing anything aside from the offside that should have been given to us that wasn't. When you get outplayed like this, when you are half a yard slower in speed and thought, you will commit more fouls.

Cads and Iorfa off, Brown and McNeill on.

Makes sense, Iorfa is part of a defence that is left exposed constantly and we know he can struggle in those situations when he is the only one expected to get the defensive header in or stop an attack. Cads has been anonymous again, he is League One currently and I suspect if we were not being starved to death by DC he would be out on loan again this season.

And there they go again.

Coventry in a different league to us

We have nothing up front to be more direct with. Midfield is too busy defending to support as well. Look at the numbers they get forward with everytime, we are lucky if we have a runner in the box. We knew we would be hammered today, they are too good and if we are to make any sort of unlikely fight for survival, this is not the game that will determine our season or that will decide our fate. Coventry should win the league this season, results like the 2-0 at Pompey will be more important.
