I wouldn't mind, but I had the Bill Shankly part last week but thought it was someone else because of the extra letters Doh

I never wrote down the 3 remaining letters. Might have been in the bottle of Christmas Spirit a bit too soon. :hic:

Cracking 2nd half performance that was.
About time we showed a bit of attacking intent. Been missing in far too many away games.
This win will mean not a lot if we don't follow it up with beating Rotherham. Vital game now.
Thought Rhodes had a brilliant game for his 200th. Kasumu looked great also. Still not too sure about Rudoni even though he played a brilliant cross/pass for our 2nd.

I think it showed that of we get the ball to Rhodes in the right areas he more often than not puts the chance on target, the fact that he missed the chances against Sunderland and Watford don't change that, but highlights how poor we have been that they were his only two chances of note since god knows when.

Be interesting to see him and Simpson up top together for a spell, he needs bodies in support of him, think he dropped deeper against Preston and that in turn brought Holmes and rudoni into the game, I don't think him doing that brings Thomas in as he always tried to be out wide and leaves a huge gap between him and the striker

Good first half. 1-0 up.

Keep it up. And come on Sunderland.

And Sheffield United.
