Seriously, is anyone likely to notice? Whistle

Wierd isn't it? Villa won 3 and drew 1 of their first 4 games at the start of the season and were pretty quick to point this out to us. This was the season where it all was going to change for them...apparently.

Fickle.

As a protest against what???

Randy Lerner. They think he's ignoring them, or too far away to care about them. If true, I envy him Rolleyes

It amazes me sometimes what fans want owners to do to prove they are engaged in the club?? This guy has spent over 200m since buying them and the club still has debts over 100m after he voluntarily reduced it by 90 million a bit ago through equity!! Even if he wasn't fully engaged, what do they expect him to do?? Besides he is more involved in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns but now their season has ended I am sure he is putting more time into Villa.

And he's just spent more money bringing in Carles Gil. Although its not Messi and (according to villa fans) they are the sorts of players they should be bringing in. Doh

Build a time machine which goes back to 1982?

But going back to 1982 would see Deadly Doug back at the helm and we know that was a true love-hate relationship with their fans!!

Deadly Doug invented the scissor-kick - FACT. (I know it's a fact because HE said so). He also virtually won WW2 single-handedly - FACT.

But........he wasn't at the Villa in 1982, and that's why no photos of their European Cup triumph were displayed in the Club's premises when he returned to the Club later!!! FACT.

What an egomaniac! FACT

the vile .... half a goal a game ..... lets hope that gets worse. if the vile go down they will sink without trace, they are a poor side, their top drawer players, sorry player will leave and with their debts, they will not be able to bring in even the quality of the dingles ....

pride of the midlands ........ we know what we are ...... pride of the midlands ...... we know what we are

I have not yet felt the need to predict our results for the rest of the season, I believe that with TP we have more than enough squad quality and depth to stay up ............ not counting chickens, nobody is too good to go down, well maybe the top two, but the rest. If we enter the latter stages of Feb without being clear or at least making headway to being clear then I will join in with this game.
We are Albion .....

I had the great misfortune of a free ticket for their FA Cup game against Blackpool from a Villa supporting mate. (I feel dirty saying that but I can't turn down free footy and a chance to laugh at a 'big' club)

It made us under AI look like Madrid.

It was unbelievably bad and two hours I shall never get back Dodgy.
Blackpool were dreadful and Villa no better, even though they had a full strength team 'playing' - They are in deep, deep, deeeeep doo-doo .........................................................such a shame.
I can go a step higher than Aston Villa
