Were not overlooking them, I mentioned 2 of them in my replies. Difficult to assess them when you never saw them play!!!

I would say our best players obviuosly came from the 30s 60s early 80/90s and thats yer lot !!! i have no concept about the 30s cup winning team as there is not much information to offer and off course the cup winners before that ? again the 60s and apart from the cup final loss there isnt much information out there or videos ?. football got turned on its head in the early 70s and we were for the most part shite and then you move to the waking off the giant years when jack charlton ( who incedently should be in that picture as the manager with the flat cap on in the corner reading the racing post ) woke us up in another changing era of exiciting entertaining football this a was lucky enough to witness nearly 90% of the games home and away then came the glory years which again i was lucky enough to watch home and away and the wembley season ticket and then when pleat took over i got mi coat and fucked off and i can honestly say i didnt even start to check the results again untill that playoff final is bullen good enough to get in there is another question ? was he that much of a legend ??? i dont know i wasnt on the north stand anymore ? is semedo good enough to get in there ??? some knobheads are stating that Hutch should be in there stupid xxxx the mans only played half a dozen games and only been on form 1005 this term ? xxxx off knobheads !!! but you can bet your life there will be at least one player in there who doesnt deserve it !! better not be that xxxx dicanio or carbone i would be furious and absalute disgrace to our history both

Completely agree with you on DiCanio, slightly less on Carbone. If this was a list of the best players to play for us then Di Canio would be one of the first names on the list for me, he was a joy to watch but he was certainly no legend!!!

Ohhh DiCanio NOT a legend , think for me you need to define a Wednesday legend properly,,,

Waddle , Hirst, Nillson, Hodge/Boulder, Irish, Sterland , Vardi, Sheridan... those for me are the ones I would class as a legend

Jeffers... for totally different reasons , and if we talk managers, Then what about Wilko ???

In terms of managers I would put Wilko, Big Ron and Jack in there, all for different reasons but they were all instrumental in getting the club back on its feet and having some success.

He is in my 11 on the last page and Imre's!! Not sure there is a Wednesday fan out there who followed us during that era that would leave him out!!!

Again, maybe one of the best managers we ever had, but not a legend for me as he was only with us for 2 1/2 years and jumped ship all too quickly when a bigger team came along. He does have the distinction of the highest league place in our last 100 years but not a legend for me.
