All football off until 3rd April at the earliest.
Not sure how we are going to finish the season to be honest.
IF we come back on 3/4/20 we will only have 2 free midweeks between that date and the official end of the season 3/5/20
We will have to extend the season but then that means putting the play offs back.
Putting the play offs back has its own complication in the Euros are set to start on 12th June and players who are called up must join up in advance of the tournament.
The Premier League has further complications with Champions and Europa League fixtures which are all suspended as well.
The only real solution I can see is to abandon the season, and everyone starts a fresh in the same divisions next season.

Is a difficult one. I'm having to look at getting money back now the cricket is cancelled I think the fa would be likely to reimburse money for any fixtures over here.
From looking at flights that's where the problems are, hotels can be cancelled for full refund as long as its days before scheduled arrival, flights cause the issue as if the country is open and the flight is still on, then you don't normally get the money back, luckily I have insurance so one way or another I'll be getting most of it back. Although I went through some of the bigger companies to book and the flights are with a big airline so it will probably be a bit easier, fingers crossed
Another day, another door, another high, another low

The FA are offering full refunds but obviously that is all they are responsible for. I personally have a decision to make next week on do I bother to go down to London on Friday afternoon and come back on the Sunday or do I write off my non refundable train and hotel bookings(£200+). As it stands I'm of a mind to go but that may change depending on Government advice between now and then. It will be what it is I suppose, might even pick up a few bargains for the Theatre.

Aye but who's to say the theatres will still be open? Pubs even? Might be total lockdown by this time next week.

So what happens next? Obviously this April 3rd thing is just a review date. There won't be a resumption. The boffins say this won't peak until May or June.
Cancel the Euros now. Restart this season in July, ending sometime in August/September. Start the next season in November, finishing in September 2021. Then play the Euros and start the next season in January 2022. This would then finish the season in time for the World Cup in Qatar.
So what happens then? Well we either have a Feb to Nov season or we just wait til Aug 2022 to start a new season and get back on track.
This is just me thinking off the top of my head following a particularly boring day at work. Whatever does happen, it will be the people pulling the purse strings who have the final say, not the fans.
