Didn’t watch or listen to the game because I was watching the Bundesliga so can’t comment on the match.
I will say that I’m glad for the 3 points and pleased to see the same formation used again. Keep it going Darren and team.

Down to 3rd after Leeds won. Norwich pulled 5 points ahead of us at the top.
Pulisbrough can go above us if they beat Brentford.

well what I suspected is now out in the open Jones does the on the ball coaching BD does the off the ball stuff. In other words the tactics formations and football skills ahem! are completely down to our number 2 and the motivational, arm round shoulder, up and at em speeches stuff is down to BD. Its pretty obvious really BD as loveable as he is aint the brightest coach around as his pre and post match interviews clearly show. He has a limited number of lines he delivers time an again such as when we win its "Every one of them to a man put in a shift today" The reason i'm pointing this out is for anyone who blames BD for our tactics performances etc is actually taking aim at the wrong guy. Our number 2 is running WBA BD is a talisman IMHO. Feel free to chime in on this point I'd be interested in all POV

I think the comment was that Jones coaches for when we are in possession, BD does the out of possession stuff, i.e defensive positions, when to press etc etc. Given the number of goals we're scoring, Jones appears to be doing a very good job.
A lot has been said on here about 3 or 4 at the back. We've actually had a traditional back 4 at numerous times earlier this season (Bolton, Forest, Norwich, 2nd halves v Derby, Blackburn and Wigan) with mixed results - in fact you could argue that v Ipswich we had 4 at the back when we didn't have the ball, but moved to a back 3 when we did have it (compare the average positions of Gibbs and Tosin - Gibbs was far more advanced). It's this increased fluidity, a more mobile midfield and the option of a longer ball out to a target man (HRK) that has helped the improvement over the last couple of games. It will be interesting to see whether Gayle starts in future games and what that may do to our approach.
They say that ignorance is bliss - no wonder so many people are happy.
