Dyche is right. It's a daft rule that he can't be retrospectively banned because we didn't get an advantage from it.
If we'd been given a penalty and won the game 1-0, he could then have been given a one match ban.
Where's the sense in that?

But, but, but Line acre and Shearer have yet to pontificate. How can that be right. Is Wagbo taking the law into his own hands?

My view from above their dug out sat orderley amongst the locals on my padded seat with and my mate who had jetted back across the pond from Toronto for the weekend to taste his first live prem game. There was perhaps 50 town fans in the 1882 lounge amongst 200 being prawn sandwiched that included a stadium tour at 12 pitch side, dug outs, chairmans area and trophy room - I got some mileage out that all afty. Asked (& monitored) not to touch the shirts set out so numbers could not be seen or pictured ahead of the teams being released at 2pm - interesting.
Nahki wheeled in at 2,30 to give us a brief pre match view, Kindon given a fantastic reception a bit earlier he is a funny guy.

We were solid throughout, well organised, we lacked bravery and flair for most of the first half and put the onus on the home lot to break us down. Neither keeper tested first 45.

2nd half we upped it half a notch and eventually had a couple of efforts, Schindler and Mooy stood out and all the locals agreed Defour given MOM was simply a home things, Mooy never wasted a pass, had complete control fought back and Schindler was once again immense snuffing out all but 1 Wood glancing header early doors that he should have tested Lossl if not scored from.

Good noise from the 2400 in the away end, Burnley fans to left in the 1/3 section tried their best to raise their team, but it became a bit of a chess match with us starting to look lively in the last 20. At normal speed the VLP incident looked like he might have been clipped, around me they wanted to hang him, perhaps had he stayed on his feet he could have quite simply shot high over the keeper and bobsyouruncle!

I did suspect a low quality slug fest earleir in the week and I think i called it about right, as the away side / fans we'll take a point that keeps us ticking along nicely, but we have to find goals and create more chances in the coming weeks.

Alright, there's not enough contact to make him fall. But neither was there last week when Leicester got their penalty. You have to be consistent. If that was a pen last week, then so was this.
Leicester obviously have more ref conning experience.

Tom Daley has been on and asked if he's available for coaching sessions.

I think most at the game thought the ref had a stinker but having watched the Skylights back he gets every booking spot on.

unlike some on DATM though I don't think we should have a go at him. Sometimes you get them and at others...you don't.

Quick survey: Win 1-0 thanks to a blatant dive or draw 0-0?

I'll stick myself in the 0-0 camp - can't abide diving and VLP's was a particularly blatant one.

It has to be 0-0 unless you really, really like Forestieri

No dives. 0-0 for me. Like I said before, Raj should have a one match ban for it. Even though there did look to be the slightest touch on him, it's a dive.
