First half saw periods of patient possession from Liverpool. Albion’s limited threat came largely from Leko, who created Rondon’s opening. Ibe took advantage of an Evans slip but ran unchallenged from half way to equalise.
Much better second half for Albion, created several openings and Rondon close to adding a couple more. We could have won, we could have lost.
Headed back south thinking If only we could cut out the poor moments – misplaced passes, lost possession, slow to react to situations. If only we could score a few more goals. If only. But then it wouldn’t be Albion, would it ?

I think we played some good stuff at times (hours SS highlights) A couple of things stuck out and 1 was Ollsson I do like the guy but how many balls hoofed out of defence that just go aimlessly up the pitch leaves me groaning in despair. He simply wont attempt a simple shorter forward pass to start attacking moves. Rondon looks every bit like he could be a decent striker but he will need good service hopefully he will stay and improve next season. Now this Leko looks a real handful to me. That's the first time I've seen him but i really like what I see strong quick and some trickery as well I think he looks the real deal and letsa just pray he doesn't end up with billy big nob syndrome like a certain other academy product that's really let us down this year. I think he looks like he could start a nice partnership with rondon? Then we really need two more strikers that can hit a cows arse with their banjo's Rondon could have had 4 yesterday btw

Just back from 3 weeks in West Midlands, without a computer, and I (unfortunately) had to watch the Albion twice (West Ham & Liverpool) ! GROAN!
Not much to say, but I was proud drinking with some Liverpool fans who were really really touched by our "96" gesture, and that made me a lot happier than the football I witnessed.
Can somebody tell me what the song was all about that the Smethwick belted out for a good 10 mins in the 2nd half. I couldn't make out the words or the tune, but it silenced the Kop. Was it for Leko? Just couldn't make it out.
