Dominic Ball plays as defensive midfielder, possible hint for next week. King and O' Halloran on the bench.
Looking for Holt and Forrester to create and exploit space, and the full backs to bomb on at will. Just like normal, then
RANGERS: Foderingham; Tavernier, Kiernan, Wilson, Wallace; Ball, Halliday, Holt; Forrester, Miller, McKay.

Looks like our whole starting lineup for next week. I thought we'd see Zelalem start this one but it makes sense to get Ball involved again ahead of the semi.

Ball sits well in front of the back 4 lets Halliday get further forward. Can't believe they are relaying the pitch tomorrow absolute joke.

HT Rangers 2-0 Peterhead ... Unfortunate OG from Gilchrist and a screamer from Tavernier.
The match has been somewhat low-key so far, maybe the tempo will increase in the second half.

First goal was unfortunate, defender stuck between a rock and as hard place. Second goal, however, was a stunner. An absolute screamer.
Been an under par half though, too many poor choices passing-wise, and a slack tempo overall. We're not making the most of the size of the pitch, I feel.

We haven't really played the high tempo game we normally do. I think the players, whether under instruction from the manager or not, are holding back a bit with an eye on next week's game.

On the plus side: a job well done, a clean sheet, a monkey off our back, a new trophy in the cabinet and a good morale boost ahead of the SC semi.
On the down side: Harry Forrester strapped up and limping after the match. Desperately hoping this doesn't mean Clark or Shiels starting up front against celtic.
