Frozen bloody pitch? Can't they find any salt nearby?
They were in the Prem not long ago and were supposed to have undersoil heating installed as standard. Something else the Oyston's fiddled?
Glad I didn't buy that bloody train ticket.
No doubt plenty of Town fans booked in for the usual Blackpool "two night minimum stay" are going to be well chuffed with that this weekend.

I think Miserable Matt Glennon said they were only 20 mins from the ground when they found out. It left Katherine Hannah with nothing to talk about so no change there.

Well, that at least is one benefit. We seem to do far better when the gobby wicked witch of West Yorkshire Sport is spouting off elsewhere. I take it Matt and Oggy finished up having a pint in The Tickled Trout then. Did they throw her in the river?

Surprised at that wasn't to bad when I left home for Brum but some clubs have non league pitches and facillities and the Lashers fall into that category

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's also the date Blackpool could play Southampton in a 4th Round replay if this weekend's match is drawn. The last away game we had called off (my memory may be off) due to frost was Southampton. They installed undersoil heating pipes in their shiny new (at the time) ground, but despite the local presence of big chemical companies (used to be called BP) that make glycols and others that blend them into anti-freeze, Southampton were unable, also in spite of the weather forecast, to procure the required volume in time to fill their pipes and hence turn it on? They claimed it was a once in 20+ year occurrence, so why would they? Well apart from pissing off folks that had booked a weekend by the dock of the bay to watch the big ships float in and watch them float back out again .... ?
You couldn't make this up.
