It's gone beyond the point of anger for me as well. When he missed I started laughing. Got a few funny looks from those round me punching seats and screaming in anger but the football has honestly got so bad it's funny. Eventually everyone will catch up to me and we'll see scenes like when Bothroyd smashed over from 5 yards and the whole kop cheered.

This Nuhiu sitter and Lee's fúck up just about sums up our whole season.

I didn't boo (never have, never will) & I didn't get angry. I just smiled or laughed. The Nuhui miss was just expected.

As someone said earlier, if Madine had played, he would have scored a couple but SG is too stubborn to play him so he will take another punt in the loan market.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

It was me and I stand by it. Don't actually think Madine is good enough for us (if we're serious about promotion) but you put him on the Nuhiu miss and the Lee chance and it's 2-0 and we're cruising

Right, so we'll be about 14th in the table after Saturdays football lesson by Derby. Meaning, we have to take 3pts against Milwall in order to stay above the septic tank.

I know this season is pretty much over and all that, but surely we don't want to accept 14th place as an 'ok' mark to end this campaign with a view to next season.
I was of the opinion, that the new takeover would spur the players into fighting for their jobs. Seems some of them simply just do not give a shit, It's no doubt demoralising being played out of position or being subject to tactics that you as a player don't agree with. However, if you're being paid copious amounts of money to do a job, then you do it!!!

Whether SG is to blame or not, most of these players need to take a long hard look at themselves, they have massively underwhelmed(exceptions such as Lee's Loovens Westwood despite the odd error)

It's a concern for me that SG will re-sign a lot of these deadwood players that seem to never break the periphery of the team, or even offer improved terms to Maguire.

The Maguire scenario frustrates me, as it was just a season or two ago some of us were asking for Maguire to have a chance, everyone deserves a run out, right?
Now we have the same situation with Madine, where he should be given a chance before being moved on or re-signed, however SG seems adamant in getting rid.

All managers have their favourites & players they cast out.

With SG, he loves Maguire, Mattock & Nuhui but won't give a chance to Madine & McCabe. Strangely both Madine & McCabe played well in the one league start they have had under SG but were immediately dropped, never to return.

A change of manager will probably mean a new set of favourites and a new set of outcasts. It does make sense to make the change now so the new manager might spot some talent in the players that we might lose for free in the summer.

Also, is there an incentive for our players to be chasing promotion? I suspect that many will be released if we go up or are chasing it so it suits them for us to be a bottom half side, at least for now.

Madine should be given a chance because he has proved that he can score.
McCabe had half a season where he started and bottled tackles and let games pass him by. The only thing of note I can think he's done is the volley vs Charlton.
Corry has been badly treated by us. Started that Friday night v Leeds and hardly had a look in since

I suppose I didn't look at it that way, it probably does suit the players to not perform. What does that say about them though, and is that what we need/want at the club?

There'll always be favourites I agree, for me though, anyone putting their personal interests above the club, and above getting the best results shouldn't be here
