I was amazed at the time that they ref and Assistant missed the obvious shirt pulling by Hutchinson in the second half as well!! He was lucky not to get a yellow for the challenge on Hutton, even luckier not to give away a pen and get a second yellow for the shirt pull.

There used to be a rule that if you got within 50 you got an extra

getting within 10 should surely mean at least 3

In all honesty that can't be easy for Officials to keep on top of. At the end of the day though they should know what needs booking and what should be let go.

Hopefully they can learn from the Euro16 referees, who were excellent. Just not sure if the PDMOL are good enough in England to help the referees up to the top standard. Seems like referees like Clattenburg, Dean Atkinson & Oliver are exceptionally good referees above a lot of average ones.

pretty much agree with kev, first half we controlled with no real goal scoring intent 2nd was more equal however villa has one clear chance whilst we created a few. I wouldn't have been happy overall with a point as I thought we were well worth a win.

My man of the match was lees. Win everything and felt his booking was soft considering their man has more of lees shirt than he did himself Laugh

What's scary is, if we can play this well now after 2 months out, how well will we be playing in 5 games time ?

Whats scary is if we play like that for 20 minutes against Norwich we will find ourselfs picking 5 out off the back of our net !!

Thank god loomins wasnt playing or Villa would have banged in 5 !!

We weren't that bad. I remember villa having one clear chance which Westwood dealt with comfortably. None of these teams should have us scared
