It will be a welcome distraction to get back to footballing matters, and hopefully a quarter final place come sunday afternoon.
The line up for tomorrow should be interesting to say the least.

I'd start with as many changes as possible from the OF game. Bring in Templeton, Shiels, Boyd, the new guys, Faure, Zaliukas, Gallagher, whoever. We'll probably lose but we're not going to win this cup anyway and the players need to be shaken up a bit. Try a different formation too while we're mixing things up. It would also make us a bit less predictable to the opposition going forward if they suddenly see that we have options. Half our problem this season has been that other managers always know exactly how we're going to set up and how we'll play, so they plan against our weaknesses. If they have to hedge their tactical bets it makes things easier on our guys.

For me its getting a sustained run to the play offs, if we can generate some form then maybe just maybe we can get promoted.
Totally agree would love to see shields Temps get a run in the side, and we have to get away from the turgid 4-4-2 we so rigidly stick to.
A 3-5-2 imo would work given the pace of Wallace and temps, have Law as the sitting midfielder with one the the loan signings instead of Black, and Jig on the bench to thank you very much.

I cannae wait for the line-up announcement tomorrow!

'Kin' 'ell, a chance to see some new players that we know very little about, a chance to free ourselves from this crippling deep defensive line that's been the root of all our evils on the pitch for years now, a chance even for established players to respond to the new influx of young, hungry talent into our squad.

It's win-win all round!   Thumb up

Now, while I'm still lingering in Fantasy-land, I fully expect Bigirimana to hammer at least one goal in from 25 yards tomorrow, I expect Remi Streete to publicly embarrass Jig by constantly taking him aside and telling what he actually should be doing and Vuckic to score a 'perfect hat-trick' at least, before being subbed off at half-time because KD didn't expect him to track back and close down their wingers all the time. . .

Yup, Fantasy-land is a great place at this time of the night. Wink  Thumb up  Thumb up

And naturally in the end we drop McGregor rather than McCulloch for Streete. Doh

At least the lineup could be 4-3-1-2 which is a bit of a change.
