In the EPL loaned out players cannot play against their parent club, so logically that should apply in Cup competitions too.
I do not know if the SPFL / SFA have the same rule.

But there was that loaned out Celtic player (last season, I think), who played against  Celtic in a European match.

He wont i would imagine Trus. He couldn't feature in the league against us, unless rules are different for the cup.

I don't think it's in the regulations but it was in the loan agreement that he can't play against us. I'd assume it's also the same as Crawford in that he can't play in any SC games to avoid leaving him cup-tied. Robbie Crawford was given special permission to play in the cup for Morton when they asked but I suppose whatever the result of our match with Raith McKay won't be impacted in that regard.
