Yes, a one off is generally pure luck!!! A one off hints at some ability being present, but Las Vegas exists because when it comes to things like predictions there are those who quietly go along doing well some weeks and not so well other weeks but always placing near the top but there are far more who shout and brag about their wins while hiding the fact they have lost many times prior to the one lucky win!!!
