The old 606 on the BBC was what got me into chat room forums, it was a good site and the banter between teams was good but at times it got silly aka Fireymoose! Looking forward to Saturdays game, should be a ding-dong, 4-3 either way!!

Looking back at how 606 was moderated, it gives me even more appreciation for our moderator Ska’d.

On 606 they were way too strict and very inconsistent. I for example was banned a couple of times for telling certain trolling posters exactly where to go yet fireymoose would insult and belittle his fellow Albion supporters, including myself, and never face any repercussions.

Now now that wasn't very nice Captain Grandad.   Whistle

I'd be looking at the playing the following team against Norwich:
Johnstone
Holgate - Dawson - Bartley - Gibbs
Barry
Phillips - Morrison - Hoolahan - Barnes
Rodriguez

Subs - Myhill, Tosin, Townsend, Brunt, Harper, Sako, Robson-Kanu

Are you working on the basis that Gayle and Heghazi are unfit, despite the positive noises coming from the Hawthorns of their fitness?

The above team is based on Hegazi and Gayle not being able to play. If they are fit to play then Hegazi would come in for Bartley and Bartley drops to the bench, Townsend misses out and Gayle would replace Harper on the bench.

It is only Wednesday so I’m sure we’ll find out for definite if they are ok to play later in the week.

That central midfield has a combined age of over 110, opta stats will say the heat map will be very static, the wingers look good though!

Interesting. If Gayle is fit, in my view he has to start, he's the most potent and effective striker we have at the club. Whilst that would require a change to the formation, I think that has to be managed to play him. I would also keep Harper on the bench regardless of other player availability; as much as I love him Brunt would drop out to make way for Harper as I think we need some younger legs. Having Brunt come on to replace either Hoolahan or Morrison would not, in my view, help as much as a youthful Harper.

Good points. For me, because of Gayle’s injury, I think his first match back from injury should be a 20-30 minute cameo off the bench so as not to risk an immediate recurrence of the injury.

Harper or Brunt is definitely a very difficult decision. Brunt’s experience or Harper’s youthful energy?
