No, no, no. Not another one just before they play us.

Keep him until the New Year anyway. We might need a Christmas present from Maureen. When I saw your comments Snoots they were 0-2 down, but the fat Spanish waiter has served up capitulation again. Hope he does it against us.

We were superb in this game. Should have got all 3 points.
I said in the introduction to this thread that we could well end up dominating possession and attempts but lose the game.
I was almost right....thank God for Schindler.
Burnley had 2 good attempts and scored 1.
We had numerous attempts, a couple of good ones and scored.
What were the stats?.......71% possession to us and 6 to 19 attempts in our favour...but they had more shots on target.

LDP should be ashamed for that dive in the box. Appalling. Didn't think he had that in his game tbh. However that Tarkowski lad should count himself lucky. He stamped on LDP just after the dive. Should have been a yellow for that.

Thought the ref was superb today. Got everything right. Can't remember the lads name but he was good.

Standouts today were Mooy, Pritchard and Schindler. The rest were all good but LDP really should have scored. VLP also should have done better with final balls and shots at goal.

Not seen Depoitre's dive yet, but I bet it wasn't as bad as Rose last week, who was at it again yesterday against Cardiff.

Seen it now. Doh Still about as much contact as Rose had last week. Angry

Super encouraging performance, 3 points were there to be taken but a combination of lack of clinical finishing and poor delivery throughout (Mooys corners in particular) meant we just didnt have that edge nor ability to seize the moment.

We are definately, slowly slowly getting our sh1t together.

Great possession stats for an away team but all too often going back, across or tippy tappy tri-angle passing that delivers nothing, I just wish Hogg could get it and spin and go on at least 2 occasions he didnt even look around him and almost auto pilot style got rid, backwards, I really thought the coaches would be trying to add this to his game with his own desire to improve.

Lucky that Vokes didnt get the header before, on the few occasions it came across Burnley certainly had their crosses sorted and were strong at the back too. Joe Hart Englands No 4 getting some stick 2nd half.

Schindy was immense, a fine glancing header, the whole back line I thought was fairly tight, good to see Mounie come on late and put himself about and Mbenza good movement replacing a disappointing VLP who really should have scored early on. Mooy pushed on and was more influential as our momentum built.

Backed with a sell out support ( as you would hope) and noise but you could feel and hear the frustration amongst the fans with our slow laboured passing and build up particularly first half when missing the chances the other end we had worked hard to create.

We need to carry this effort into the Watford away game, the Micky Mousers is a free hit but it would be nice to see a strong performance that evening too irrespective of the result.

Doctor Who just said "I would of ....." Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh

Anyway.....good results today. And yesterday for that matter. Six teams in our immediate vicinity all losing makes our point a very good one.
As for Liverpool coming next. Well at least we managed to score against Man City. Klopp's boys looked toothless today. We'll 'ave 'em!

Absolutely, apart from that, it was Town that should have been out of sight before we gifted them the free headers. What game was old raspy voice watching?
