Watford vs WBA - Match Thread

So, at last I have been able to clear the decks and be able to go to a match at a weekend and so now it is threatened by snow!

This will, if it goes ahead, potentially either my one and only sighting of Alan Pardew as the Manager or my opportunity to say "I was there" when the revival and Great Escape was launched.

I've got a guest ticket in the home end and will be easily spotted as I will throw snowballs at their keeper.

But Beefy, look on the bright side....at least Barry isn't in the team!
Although there are plenty of other "hiders"...Gibbs, Evans, Livermore (WTF), Phillips, Krychowiak

cheers matey
All good now

Brunty playing well but keeps bending over like he is stretching his back when he can ?
Brunt Playing a little to central for my liking Thumb up
Not being over run in midfield for a change looks like a 4-5-1 ?

Still need that link to the front guys though !

0-0 at half time.

Flatters both teams. Laugh

Decent first half performance.

I'm not convinced about the 3 central midfielders as they are though. Livermore is playing the holding role which doesn't really suit him (Yacob would have been a better choice) with Krychowiak and Brunt playing the central roles. I would like to see us flip the triangle and push Krychowiak forward behind Rondon with Livermore and Brunt as a central two in a 4-2-3-1. Rondon is getting isolated and needs support behind him.

Watford are nothing special and we can beat them. We just need to be better with the ball in forward positions.
