FT 1-1 and I must say picking up only 2 pts from the last two league matches is an absolute travesty after another match in which Hibs were clearly the better side but taking good scoring opps is clearly a problem + Boyly's cracking shot off the Saints' crossbar not favoured by Lady Luck. One incident in the second half really 'stuck in my mind' re very bad options chosen by certain players - Swanny breaking free of the Saints flat defensive line in a '2 on 1 attacking move' and just needs to 'square pass' to Murray and 'pass him in' to batter in a probable winning goal past Mannus - opts not to do it, goal chance gone, and you could see steam coming out of Simon Murray's ears in utter frustration!!!!! Thumb down Also John McGinn outstanding today and certainly gets my MOTM award.

Agree about John McGinn brilliant today don't no what's happening with hibs we must start games better the first 10/15 mins we where all over the place then for their goal we should haved scored then they break right up the park and score could not believe it. Stokes could have had a hat trick today and as you said why swabston never fired it at goal or play Simon Murray in only he will no why

Frustrating stuff. I said before the game i'd take a point in a tough fixture against an unbeaten side but left peeved we didn't get the 3 points.

Once again outside the first 15 mins we were by far the better side in an away game but didn't capitalise. To go to perth and play with that quality is deserving of praise, saints came very close to beating celtic last week remember.

Lennon sprung a surprise by pitching in boyle, and playing an attacking line up with 2 wingers and two forwards.

Murrays touch let him down a bit the day,i think he needs a wee rest. On the other hand stokes, boyle and mcginn were all really good. Eventually we are going to get the reward our good play deserves, but we are going to have to start keeping clean sheets to get the 3 points. Every game this season we have lost the first goal and it has cost us points.

That said, the fans i spoke to today were very appreciative of the style of fitba this hibs side is producing. We have an atrocious record up there,so there was much to admire from the days performance.

Re Hibs initial 'lame' 15-20 mins, I've previously mentioned Hibs 'cold starts' in matches and how many games have we started impressively? Not many! How do we overcome such a bad habit? I guess Lenny and his coaching staff have to highlight the fact to the players and let them deal with it. Maybe we should start matches with an altered shape in Hibs starting line up?

I notice the assigned referee for this match at Murrayfield was none other than the 'dreaded Craig Thomson'. I've not watched the bbc highlights of this game yet but expecting to see Thomson do his usual 'biased bit' at some stages of the game - the man never fails in that regard when it comes to pk denials/awards or red card denials/punishments!!! Maybe he'll surprise me this time eh with no contention attached to his officiation of a Hearts footie match! Rolleyes And hopefully he'll be kept well away from Hibs matches for this season.

I think we all agree HFC are slow at starting but the style of football we are playing is brilliant if we keep doing what we're doing we will rip someone apart. I remember years ago we where playing well but could not score and motherwell came to Easter Road & we battered them 6-0 lets hope it repeats on Saturday

Now that would be a spectacle as long as certain Hibs players pre visit the special footie stall located o/s ER Stadium with a notice titled, 'Shooting boots for sale' lol. But seriously, we need to sort out our striking inadequacy or it could really 'dent' a promising season where the team's outfield play is excellent but prolific goal scoring is not esp with the good number of decent scoring opps that are being created.
