Thanks squirrel and stairs. I called them and they said no so looks like it will have to be the royal oak. If we go to the oak what stop should I get off on the metro.
Help urgent

I'd either still go to the vine as the atmosphere and food is really good. I wouldn't bother as much with the royal oak. I'd probably go the fanzone which is literally 15 seconds from the ground by the Birmingham Road / Halfords Lane corner. They have the game on huge screens and the atmosphere is good there too.
Only problem can be if it's rainy or you don't want to stand up for an hour or 2 there. I'd go to the Vine early, get a few plates of chicken tikka or a curry and a few drinks down you, then leave about 1.40 ish (really depends when you wanna get there) and walk the 15 mins to the ground / fanzone and watch the second half. Depends on how besotted you are with the early game and what times your working around. Train or tram to hawthorns are both fine

I'm not that bothered about the early game but a couple of them are. I did mention the fan zone to them. I'm just looking forward to the game just trying to please the others too.

Am sure your mates will have a grand day and wish you all a safe trip.
Let's hope they are a bit subdued on the way home and you are the one with a satisfied grin on your face and we are in the next round of the cup ! ![]() C O Y B |
