Albion drawn at home. Vs port Vale, should be a good draw for us on paper. The fringe first teamers should be busting a gut to show TP they are worth a place..

Last time we played them was January 2000. Seriously, getting drawn against them is like a living edition of I Love The Nineties.

Watched the draw, hated it, firstly half the draw was done in secret prior to the seeded teams being drawn, secondly and most importantly why is modern football so rigged for the bigger teams, did the thought of Bradford winning the cup scare them that much or did the special one have a special fit because his superstars may get knocked out early. The prem, I for one hate it, geared up so a few clubs have the glory and the rest have a few crumbs, the odd surprise win when a big club has an off day (match of the day summaries never give us praise), champions league, a few clubs get very rich, the rest can not compete financially. Youth system geared for the high profile clubs to rape the smaller ones.
I have another idea, let's give the top eight prem clubs their own qualifying round, the winning four go straight in at the quarter finals stage thus guaranteeing a big club gobby manager lifts the trophy. I am beginning to wonder why eighty odd clubs bother, somebody give me some hope, please, there must be a better future for football out there.

Bang on 4evabaggie,
The whole idea of a cup draw is the random who comes out of the bag. This seeded nonsense just keeps the big clubs from drawing each other. Most bizarre thing is that the only reason the big clubs get knocked out is because they play weakened teams ! Thumbs down from me. How can you have a pre draw made in secret ??? Bonkers !
