Rangers were never in this match, tbh. Motherwell were the better team and deserved their victory.

Don't agree, Larry. We were half decent - but just couldn't find the goal we needed. The half that was decent wasn't the half we needed for victory.

Why? A policy of signing older players that had played for us in the past? I think I so.

Over playing the ball in possession and lacking the drive and confidence to be more direct? Quite possibly.

A lack of pace in central defence and an inability to contain young, lady counter attacking side? Yeah.

This game was lost months ago. No team that finishes where we did in the league deserves to go up. Hopefully we'll see a clear of OOC players and a manager with the skills to show the way to their players.

As an aside, Mohsni was pushed in the back by that wee prick and he deserves has kick up the arse and crack on the jaw.

Moshni is a xxxx idiot, the boy shouldn't have pushed him but apparently Moshni has said something when Erwin tried to shake his hand

If he didn't want to shake his hand that should have been the end of it and even if he said something to Erwin it didn't justify the shove. End of the day 2 Motherwell players attacked Mohsni from behind (cowards much?) and at least one more was trying to lay into him. He overreacted initially but I don't blame him for totally losing the rag by the end of it all. Erwin deserved what he got and so will Mohsni when he gets a ban.

What a goalie nightmare with that crucial 1st goal - a wicked deflection but why did Bell try to punch the ball away in such a pitiful way? And Zaliukas should change his name to Deflection Man - he's had a few cracking deflected goals attached to him down the years! The impressive 6-1 aggregate score line says it all - the better Premiership side proved their worth against Championship opposition. It's back to the drawing board for Gers either with McCall at the helm or without him!

Bell was pretty solid and dependable for us before his injury but since he came back in he's been struggling. It could just be the pressure that we were never under last year, but I also think he's not throwing himself towards the ball well so it could be a mental block with a reluctance to stretch or land on his injured shoulder. Either way he hasn't been up to the job and it might be another area we need a replacement in. Along with all the others.

Ah, so it's ok to shove someone in the back but it's not ok to defend yourself against such attacks.

Next time you are out and about go around pushing random people violently in the back and see where it gets you.

The push was an assault - the game was over. The final whistle had been blown. He'll think twice before he pushes anyone in the back again. Cowardly wee nyaff.

Mohsni would have been better keeping his temper in check but that doesn't mean Erwin didn't deserve exactly what he got. The wee pube's got a cheek saying Mohsni's actions we're embarrassing when he's the one who blindsided someone who was walking away from him and then tried to run off.

Mohsni is pish, but he's a bigger man than that whining wee prick - you think he would have the bottle to try that anywhere else? No chance.
