So have I!!   One of my favorite books for looking back at all the old grounds!!

That's 3 of us with that book, the only thing that lets it down is the lack of photos. As now, most grounds have changed beyond recognition from the mid 80's. It would be nice to compare then and now.

And we get the pleasure of hosting L***ds when the minutes silence for the tragic events at Bradford will be held!!  What are the chances of them staying quiet for a full minute??

As an update, the minutes silence at our game today was impeccably observed by all apparently!!  Hopefully that is the case everywhere!!

2-0 down already and sounds like the new kids been at fault for both of them. Hope someone puts an arm round him at half time then pulls him off, don't want this to ruin his career.

Don't think the new kid was at fault for either goal. He gave the corner away needlessly but where was the shout? And even then, we have to defend the corner properly, and he wasn't the one picking up Jordan Rhodes.

Another cracking match though. And another couple of perfectly good goals disallowed. The Wells one was ridiculous. He couldn't possibly have been offside from that angle of delivery.

Take your word for it Snoots. Hope he carried himself well. These kind of matches will hopefully get a few more season tickets sold. Powell says he wants some experience in defense and proven championship quality. I think most people would agree. I'd give Miller and gobern one year contracts and buy another central mid and another striker. We've got 3 wingers and a striker depending on how you class Bunn to provide cover. Priority has to be defence.

the radio broadcast said there was a shout for the corner but it academic , not going to crucify the lad , its his first start and he did ok , if anything it gives him a good taste of what you need to do at this level , its a steep learning curve

Well we're sat one block away from the radio team. How they could hear the shout is not possible. If there was a shout he would've left it. He did the right thing. Leaving somebody like Rhodes unmarked at a corner is daft.
Not as daft as the amount of police and stewards in front of the 500 Blackburn fans at the end of the game. What a waste of money.
