Armand has gone to the U's

I though Talbot was there until the end of the season Dev,maybe wrong.
The results generally went our way yesterday and leaves us two points off the play offs with a game in hand, although there are many clubs in with a shout.
Im really looking forward to the Coventry game ,we are playing well and they arent so gives us a real opportunity to get in amongst the play off contenders. The only problem is every time I look forward to a game I am left disappointed ,lets hope this Saturday is different.

Personally I'd like us to extend our investment in both into next season. If Gardner is a waste of time it is because he can't stay fit, not because he can't play. As for Armand, I don't think you can have too many French Ivorian Mario Balotelli lookalikes.

It is going to be about what size of squad we want next season and how we plan to use and develop it in view of the reserve team. It's good that Gboly got the chance to show his ability and is now secured unless someone produces real cash.

Has Talbot's loan been extended at Plymouth? I think yesterday was his last game wasnt' it and he did another full 90? And they like him.

See Doyle sat on the bench for a home defeat yesterday. I think unless Cardiff have the sense to play and play him they'll have bought the free-transfer player we started out with. They can't go down, so this is surely a chance to get games into him and see if what happened with us starts again once he's settled in ..... and they've bought themselves a real bargain. If they carry on like this they'll have made him a waste of money.

As Pooch says developing players from any level is the only course for us and that way maybe our Championship dreams can come true. Eibar made La Liga on crowds smaller than ours in a city smaller than Chesterfield.

If Slade gets sacked by Cardiff can't see Doyle staying there long also if they get relegated in L1 they are in trouble because they are £145 million in debt most of it owned to Tan so they'll have to sell players.

Don't understand why we've sent Armand on loan to Oxford if they don't play him, what's the point in that? he's not getting any experience sat on the bench. I reckon Gardner will be here next season he just needs more playing time to get himself back to match fitness.

Talbot is on loan at Plymouth till the end of the season but we have a clause so Cook can recall him at anytime which Sheridan won't want him to come back to Chesterfield just yet because he's playing well in centre midfield from what I've read on the Plymouth forum and they are interested in signing him permanently.  If Plymouth go up via the playoffs I wonder if he'll sign for them. My mate who is a Plymouth fan says the team is good enough to get promotion to L1 its just that they aren't consistent enough with there results.

Plymouth seem okay when Reuben Reid and Alessandra both play. All I was going on was Talbot's TV interview. In which I think he said Saturday would be his last game ........ and I know he said he wouldn't be with the lads for the play-offs if they reached them .......... so either he was confused or he knew something and we'll be hearing about it this week.

My opinion is get him back because next season well need a right back. Because Darikwa will have gone upwards and onwards. (I just heard Dancing fall off his chair laughing.)

Good news for you, hopefully he can add to his goals so far!!  Of course it goes without saying that I really hope he scores the winning goal for you on the last day of the season, a goal that will hopefully catapult you into the playoffs at the expense of the blunts!!!!

Lavery has been recalled by Sheffield Wednesday probably due to the injury Will Keane has got. Which means we have only got Byron Harrison and Mani as strikers as we can't recall Armand till the 28th March.
