Please town can you cure this hangover and get some consistency and win tonight? Is that too much to ask?

Miller in for Wells. Smith back and Edgar on bench.

Apparently all the Wolves fans are stuck on the motorway.

Good first half spoilt once again by an atrocious referee.
Great half time speech from the legendary Steve Kindon. Called the money in the premier league corrupt.

This is why I don't get overexcited about the next game when we win. If there was a game for lolley or radi to do something, this would be it. Have faith in them Powell.

Afobe has been outstanding.

Looking at the stats we've had 30 shots!!! Are they counting smithies goal kicks and clearances from the back four as shots?

Their keeper stopped everything we threw at him - but one.

Snoots - what was so bad about the ref?

Let's not blame the ref, we had 31 shots at goal and managed 1 goal.
Meanwhile Wolves had 6 and managed to win 4-1

Not good enough in defence, and not good enough in attack

I said after Leeds we were poor, I said at half time on Saturday we were poor. I said after the transfer window this squad was looking light and tonight showed it

The ref gave them everything and booked ours for nothing. Usual stuff. He were a knob!
Not blaming him though. It was a cracking match which quite unbelievably we got spanked 4-1. The stats speak volumes as to how one sided it was. But you don't get points just for shots at goal.
As I said before, Benik Afobe is brilliant. His skill amazing and his diving world class. You can take the boy out of the Arsenal but you can't take the Arsenal out of the boy. He learnt some great stuff there but also some horrible cheating. Strangely the ref got it wrong on a couple of occasions in our favour. The tackle that sent him flying near the end could easily have been a red card and he waved play on. And the yellow he eventually got for diving wasn't a dive, unlike the three or four he got free kicks for.
Anyway, I thought it was encouraging that we kept going even though it became obvious early on that it wasn't going to be our night.
