Good morning folks, how good are Monday mornings at work when Town have won against a team in the bottom three at the weekend.....might even have a extra slice of bacon on my butty this morning  Wink

Ok so it's on to Tuesday night and Wolverhampton Wanders roll into Town. Due to Forest not playing until Wednesday night Town can definately move up to 13th in the Division if they win, no matter what happens elsewhere and possibly higher...be warned The Massive we have have you in our sights again.

Last time out
Town (352)
Smithies
Edgar
Hudson
Wallace
Scannell
Butterfield
Coady
Robinson
Bunn (Gobern)
Wells
Vaughan (Miller)

Wolves(4231)
Kuszczak
Doherty
Batth
Stearman
Hause
McDonald (Henry)
Evans (Dicko)
Van La Parra
Edwards (Price)
Sako
Afobe

Current form
Town P6 W4 D0 L2 F10 A7 Pts 12 WWLWLW
Wolves P6 W3 D2 L1 F8 A5 Pts 11 WWWDDL

So what do we know our Wolverhampton Wanderers
Due to my time constraints not very much. Wolves currently sit 8th in the division with 45points, 2 spots offthe play offs but 5points adrift with a far inferior goal difference (27 goal difference)
Away from home Wolves have picked up 20points from a possible 42 which isnt too shabby
Top scorer for Wolves this season is split between Dicko and Sako with 7 each

They've played for both
OOOOOOOH BENIK AFOBE!

It's like Millwall. We seem to have turned into their bogey team.

Hope you're right, those 3 points on Saturday have given us a bit of breathing space so hopefully the pressure is off a little we can play with a bit more freedom tomorrow night, I'd still take a point though and be happy with it right noŵ

That's it! I feel like we have been holding our breath. Another win would just build the confidence a bit.

We always get overconfident after a win. Would take a point from this one and keep the run going but I agree we do seem to have some sort of power over Wolves. Hopefully hoggys. Could well be Miller and Vaughan up front together and give us a bit more hold up play. Scanz and Bunn on the wings, Coady and Butts in the middle. Edgar staying at right back.

Wolves only lost one game in the first two months of the season and had only conceded 3 goals. Then they drew 3-3 away to Reading and we beat them 3-1 immediately after. They continued to wobble with 2 more high scoring draws. conceding 11 in all, before good wins against Middlesbrough and Leeds. After wobbling in October the wheels really fell off in November losing 5 on the trot. Since then tho' they were unbeaten from mid December until Saturday when they played Reading again.

Let's hope we set them off on another wobble.

Just noticed there isn't a team from Wolves down (8th) with a +ve goal difference.

I like the 3-5-2 in that set, but the Midfielder would have to be someone like Scott Arfield, who can drop in behind Scannell when he goes forward.
Et in Arcadia Ego.

the "midfielder" was supposed to be Butterfield
