It's got to be worth having a look at anyone available, especially when we still have no scouting system. Can't say I know anything about either of them but you have to wonder why no one else has signed them.

One was at West Ham - not being good enough for the epl 's song mean you're not good enough for the Scottish leagues.
The younger one: it seems a shame to let so many youngsters go only to sign foreign ones. But, if he's good enough he'll do. Maybe McCall has been doing a bit of scouting while between jobs. Doesn't mean you're not. I hate not being able to edit this site.

I think the guy from Hamburg's been without a club since last summer. I never see that as a good sign in a young player (potential issues with injury/attitude/ability?) but I suppose that's where you get the benefit of a trial, although some problems aren't always apparent that soon.

I don't know the history but I'll assume that was injured when contract ended. Not having a club straight away is understandable in that situation.

Who do you see staying next season and who will leave?
It all feels a bit up in the air at the moment. We can't even seem to commit to McCall as permanent manager which probably means budgets will be very different depending on whether or not we go up. Out of contract players will probably all leave if we stay in the division and if we go up I think Foster and Simonsen will leave, Hutton may go since he seems to have lost his place again, Boyd looks to be on the way out, Daly probably won't be needed and McCulloch might be asked to retire from the playing staff. The rest, even Miller and Black, might get new contracts. Maybe not Mohsni but you never know.
I don't see us selling anyone under contract if we go up, but again if we stay in this division we'll possibly try to shift a couple like Templeton and Law.

I can def see temps going in the summer, if there is a new manager coming in its uncertanty again re starting places.
And to be fair to him, he is starting to get to an age where he needs needs regular football.

I would have said he was a shoe-in to leave a few weeks ago, but McCall's methods seem to agree with him so IF we can get the best out of him (and I mean on a consistent basis rather than turning it on every few matches) AND McCall stays on, we surely have to try to hang on to Temps if we win promotion. It might influence what we do with McKay too - McCall isn't getting to work with him directly but he can see how he's performing on loan so I expect a decision on his future come the summer.

I see Templeton has commented on Ally's 'just turn up and play' tactical leanings.

I'm surprised its taken so long.
