...but who's handwriting?
Kenny's statement that he has been told who to play has been denied by Llambias and Easdale, but I know who I believe.

I was actually thinking this might not have been such a bad thing to happen during McCoist's tenure.
At the end of the day we've been given the players because the ones we have haven't been doing their jobs, but a lot of them have played week-in week-out regardless. I feel for our young players who haven't been given a chance, but I can't feel too bad for the others who've had all the time in the world to make themselves look indispensable and have failed badly.
I'm not really happy with McDowall generally after this situation. His comments make it clear he couldn't give a crap about the team and his role. He just wants to be paid off or put on gardening leave like his mate McCoist. It seems like inverted constructive dismissal where he's trying to make it impossible for the management to keep him in his post. I have sympathy with him for being thrust into a job he never really wanted, but he can walk away any time he likes instead of trying to wangle a year's salary for NOT working.
The sooner we get a real manager in the better, but if the board really are picking the team that's going to be next to impossible and we'll be stuck with McDowall. No chance of promotion if that happens.

The board need to get a new manager pronto. Then they make it absolutely clear that he can be trusted with full control of the team. McDowall is then portrayed as the clueless buffoon he clearly is.
I'm sick of people damaging my club on points of principle. King, Murray, Houston, Graham, McCoist, McDowall. They can all get to f*ck.

It's the way they all air their dirty laundry through the press that does my head in. One of the first things to do when we finally get sorted is bring in a decent - and respected - press officer who does all the communicating for the club.

Kenny came across as if he was reading from a hastily prepared script - you have to wonder if he is the fifth column for King and Co.
Or maybe just covering his arse prior to picking five players he knows little about.

I just thought I'd revisit this as it occurs to me that Mbabu has been fit for some time without ever being picked for the first team, while Vuckic was dropped from the starting XI after coming back from injury. That certainly seems to put the lie to any suggestion that we're obligated to play these guys under the terms of the loan deal.

I'd have Vuckic in my starting 11 every game so far. He brings something fresh to our attack. Technically very good and not afraid to have a shot from outside the box or get into the 6 yard box to poach one.
Can't comment on the boy I haven't seen.

Same goes for me with Mbabu, but I think a fully fit Vuckic, Streete, Bigirimana and Ferguson would all be worth a starting place or at least in contention for one on their own merit. It would have been hard to find fault with them getting into the team considering how we were performing before they joined.
