IMRES NO BULLSHIT MATCH RATINGS

WESTWOOD.... 8 MOM Thank god for westwood controlled the back four and when they where nervous he wasnt he couldnt score the winner but he was my MOM what would we do without him  

HUNT.... 7 Had a very good game in attack and although he made one daft mistake in the first half he played quite good in defence aswell  

LEES....8 Again like westwood he was vital in this win and like Fessi his last ditch tackle won us the points aswell McCormacks 12 million was matched by our Lees who if from what ive seen Hanley is worth 6 million Then our boy is worth double  

HUTCH....7 Got away with a pen a sending off and basically muder   but did make Getsedes life a misery and controlled the ball 1 millions times better than Loomins could ever do across the back playing football hence did a great job  

PUDIL.... 6 His crossing was pure shite but his technical ability was more than match for any Villa Forward! We need to sign another Lb quick as CC knows and we know, not so much as to replace him  but more in making him play Better  


BANNAN...6This is the big talking point for me !!! either CC played him to deep in the first half or Villas 2 men pressing him all the time forced him deeper ? but like we saw in the playoff Final he isnt the best deep pendulam Hutch is    Hence in the second half he made some awfull passes or mistakes if you like that almost cost us goals like in the playoff Final when Diame came in from a mistake and wripped us a new one    for me Bannan is a pendulam that needs playing higher up the pitch without pressure so when he feels good he can drop into it and play without pressure    This has probably happened through the signing of abdi and Hutch being called upon in defence ! not much we can do about Hutch being Cb ! but i think a rethink is neaded into what will suit Bannan better ? for me its bring in semi and drop wallace and let Bannan do what he wants and Abdi do his magic  

ABDI....7Played a great first debut game its almost liked hes played for us for 5 seasons ? didnt look out off place and played some great stuff with Fessi but as the above states we need to find his best position with Bannan and these 2 could be the best midfield pairing in the league  

LEE....7Ran his socks off and all i can say is that this guy is Gary shelton he will score you goals and fight tooth and nail and he will also miss sitters do to much when the simplest thing is easier thats what happened today he took his not only did he take all the Villa players on he also took he own shadow on when a shot at goal would have had him a easy goal  


WALLACE....6 Made Villa work hard the first half and like Lee ran his socks off    But his set pieces where piss poor again like in the playoff final    always worth at least 60 minutes though is Wallace because he can score you a wonder goal and win games  


FLETCHER....7And im sure this would have been a 9 had he stayed on ? technically the best player in our team today good debut lets hope hes fit for Norwich away we will need him to do something special this day  

FESSI.... 8Didnt have a good first half his passing was poor or at times to unselfish but kept at it ran his socks off and we all know we wouldnt change him for anyone as hes lethal infront of goal

HOOPER....8Came on and bullied the bullys    and along with lees westwood and fessi this is what won us the game  

NUIHI.... 7 Made that all important body check that gave Fessi his goal and ran around like a warrior even finding time to take the piss with his Maradona like move in the corner  

PALMER....NO RATING But he did manage to get a decent cross in    


CC....7Quite and obvious selection but hes made Football so simple for a club that havnt played it since glory days of the 90s then you have to hold your hat up in the air and say its his making   genger pressing has become simple football with the tools off what youve got in your box   i cant see this changing all season and we will lose games but there is nothing else he can do with these tools !! he needs more Tools mr Chansiri and if you back him he will take us up  


Summary . Villa surprised me and its obvious that De matteo is working wonders for them    they will be a tough nut to crack at Villa park ( not looking forward to that game ) and they are much better equiped than Newcastle as de matteo doesnt give stuff away for free   Villa will go up if they play with that steal every other week .

We looked knackered in the last 20 minutes and i was praying for a point ? and we hit them on the lady luck scales ? time will tell if we are in with her or not ?

We have to play much better against Norwich or we will get stuffed !! we need an early goal or else    ill take 1pt now please

You're right about Ronnie. If he'd stayed on the pitch we'd have pissed this game. His injury and departure took the wind out of our sails and was the major turning point in the game.
