Earlier this season I had a go at Maguire for constantly shooting when someone is in a better position but he seems to have gone to the polar opposite and is now not shooting at all
Removed until we're actually on our way back

As everyone has commented its playing the ball to his feet, not hoofing it up to him which is most effective. He creates chances and he gets into the right position, if we can do that more then he will get some goals, but if we just hoof it up to him we don't create anything anyway.
It will be interesting to see how we fit Keane into the front two.

While Maguire has been generally poor, I do always feel that he is the most likely player to score out of the blue.
Still think that 352 suits us best.
He is the most likely to do something out of the blue, but then so was JJ!! We cannot afford to have him in there just for that one moment every 5 games or so!!
Problem with 352 is the disruption to the back 4. We have the second best defensive record in the division, I would prefer to leave the back 4 alone and build on that rather than disrupt it for the sake of the attacking options. I don't care if its a narrow 442 or 451, we just need to be more flexible!!
I kind of get that but feel sure that a back three of Lees, Loovens & Dielna with Palmer & Helan as wing backs would do an excellent job.
If we want to be promotion contenders next season then we have to think more progressively & find a formation that will make us harder to play against.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

I have a theory that Nuhipoo is not actually 6'6" , but 6' with a fibreglass head stuck on top of his own head. This is why the long steak of piss is useless in the air.

So the Blunts now need to score 3 goals to go through and there cannot be a penalty shoot out.

Wow, Blunts score two goals in two minutes and now as it stands the game will go to extra time. They still need another to win the game but at the moment that is possible!!
They are all over Spurs at the moment!!

I understand where you are coming from but I just don't let it bother me. They can do as well as they want, as long as its always one step behind us and during my lifetime that has mainly been the case aside from a few seasons here and there.
