I can't wait for it, Fly into Vienna on Friday and then transfer into Bratislava for a long weekend of fine weather,shit football and very cheap beer....what's not to like?

Went to Bratislava a few years ago now to watch England. Not a bad place for an ex-Communist country. Watch out for the bouncers though, they don't take prisoners!

Yes I was reading about that yesterday. Chaos getting into the ground,showered with bottles by the home support and then baton charged by the police and then the bouncers shot 2 england fans in a bar...sounds like a lively place

That's the one. One turnstile for the whole England support and everyone trying to get in last minute. It was the worst crush I'd been in for a long time. The ground was one of the old Eastern bloc crumbly affairs that offered plenty of missile opportunities for the home supporters! I think the action in the bars was on the night before the match because I seem to remember most places being shut when we got back into town after the match. Had to search for quite a while to find a tiny little place that was rammed with Burberry and baseball caps, then we knew we'd be ok to get a drink.
