`Team spirit` is a very abstract thing, but seems to work wonders in any sport when it`s there - and it can be disastrous when it`s not, irrespective of the quality of the individual players. Is it the case that good man-managers can create it relatively easily, whereas bad ones can lose it very quickly, or is it down to scouting and recruiting the right players in the first place? (I think Paull Cook came into the first category and that Danny Williams but not sure about John Sheridan or Dean Saunders; I suspect not.) Answers on a post card, please.
If SEB was / is the problem, that might explain why the club seem so keen to get him put of the door, but equally we may be doing the bloke an injustice. We`re guessing really. Whatever, I agree it`s a very encouraging sgn.
