Although I thoroughly agree with your first paragraph sentiments 4evabaggie, I cannot agree with:
'JP, your a great man, Enjoy your well earned rest' - because that was his job, like yours is your job, without a reward of £millions I would assume.

Lets hope the new owner keeps to his word and we can expect an exciting future.

Very true, BBB, and put well into perspective.
But I think a lot of fans are showing their appreciation that he's improved the Club 1,000% without gambling big time, and given the new owners a healthy platform. Sadly there are still a number of fans who are criticising his management - but the realists are waving him off with thanks.
People say he's tight, but he's spent virtually every penny that we've made over 14 years. (His staff have brought in some rubbish lately, but most Clubs would swop their Management for ours any day).

Marks out of 10? 8 from me.
