Yes I tend to agree that as powerless supporters we have to make jokes and laugh about our club ...... or we might cry. But mistakes are pretty much part of the data in Division One, that's why we are all down there. Now what did our new ginger ?reserve? keeper look like? Did Maguire look capable of making a step up? Was Rai Simons more of a threat?

Frankly I'd rather Gboly went a bit quiet pre-season. I'd like to get to the season with him still our player, but I do agree with Pooch that transfer-talk can be a bad thing - look at Tendayi when David Moyes went to watch him.

I still worry we are a good player short of a midfield and Ebanks-Blake and Ched up front wouldn't strike fear into me if I were a Division One defender (one hasn't played at all for four years and the other hasn't done much for three seasons). On the other hand Liam Graham coming through sounds a bonus, but my worry about him is that he never makes a first-team appearance ...... but maybe this is his career really starting. And Bournemouth and Burton came up from this division against all expectations. Maybe we should do the reverse of forgetting about James Higgins and make real fun out of it. Whenever the intensity drops we should start chanting oh Jamie Jamie, James Higgins. It would baffle opposing fans and cheer us up.
