With all of my time currently being eaten up, it's another double match thread to finish off the season, as we first travel down to Bournemouth and then face Liverpool at home in our ongoing efforts to actually win another match before the season's out. The West Ham game emphasised the desperate weakness and lack of pace in the team as a match which could have been comfortable instead turned into a counter-attacking rout; but then, these are things we've known for some time. The effort was there. The quality, sadly, wasn't, and hasn't been for a long time.
The real bright spark was, of course, young Jonathan Leko; hopefully he may yet give us something to cheer about in this final fortnight. No pressure, son, but we could do with a smile.
