Sad news for the Orange Army

Really sad to hear this news. Taken far too soon by cancer-sticks. I consider myself
lucky to have watched this fantastic player on TV in his prime. It wasn’t just his tricks
on the ball but his sheer athleticism that captivated. You got the feeling that you were
watching a truly athletic, almost balletic, performance. It was a bit like watching David
Emery (the great hurdler) play football in that he seemed to be able to do things that
ordinary mortals could only dream of copying. In modern parlance if you took the skill
of Messi and the physicality of Ronaldo and combined them you would be close to what
he was like at his best.
