So long as our players are trying I am happy to be the underdog and cause upset or surprises. Today the lads did all that you can expect and I am proud of them.

Against the better teams we do a TP job on them, defend like our lives depend on it and see what we can get. Add a couple of pacey wingers and we can hit teams in the break.
Problem is when TP still thinks the villa are a better team it worries me.
FFS let's have a go at the shit teams... Get a decent LW in and either Sess or Mcmanamen when fit at RW and we should be ok.

I really hate this excuse from Pulis. He spent £12m on Rondon and £8m on Chester, and has a £20m rated striker in his squad, yet he complains about not having enough money. Everton are only a few places above us in the league, they are not Bayern Munich. And we played (almost) as negatively against a League 1 team. Pulis is using this excuse to hide the fact that he doesn't know how to set a team up any other way. After doing hours and hours of work on defensive shape every week, I don't think our players know how to play any other way now either. And when I hear Pulis talking about money it makes me nervous because I know he is thinking about how he is going to spend all of this extra TV money in the summer. If I gave Pulis £20 and told him to go to the shops to get something nice for dinner, I reckon he'd spunk the whole lot on a sack of potatoes.
