Nobody is blaming you PEI but you haven't exactly helped yourself by banging on all the time about not giving a toss about the cup, how we'd be better off out of it and how it's not worth risking our better players in it. Personally I think £1.5M is worth risking a few of the better players for.

Also, it's not that the players that played are crap individually it's that they have never actually played together as unit before. That was the big risk that CC took. It's a steep learning curve for so many players at once. I'd have said a maximum of 4 changes from the normal team and bring some more off after the game is won by the 60th minute. Look at the starting line-ups for Everton and particularly Chelsea today and learn a lesson.
